Backflow valve closes off gas backflow.
Filter prevents debris entering the unit.
A backfire guard will prevent oxygen backflow into the fuel gas hose and vice versa, preventing gas mixing due to poor equipment condition or user error.
Gases mixing in a hose will cause it to explode.
The backfire guards have been manufactured according to SFS-EN 730-1.
