Used for assembling cylindrical parts, especially with clearances of as much as 0.20 mm and when maximum strength is required at ambient temperature for assemblies that do not need to be dismantled (shafts and pinions)
Particularly suitable for assemblies where the joints are subject to dynamic stresses
Can be used for fixing gears, discs, rings, pulleys, rotor shaft assemblies in electric motors, gearboxes
Surfaces must be clean and free from grease. Make sure that all the clearance is filled with STOP FIX
For sliding assemblies, apply the STOP FIX around the shaft and at the entrance to the ring, rotating slightly when assembling, to ensure it is properly distributed
For clamped assemblies, apply the STOP FIX quickly and carefully to the whole of both surfaces
For shrink fitting assemblies, apply a layer of STOP FIX to the shaft; the ring will be heated so that there is sufficient clearance when it is installed
Do not move the parts until there is sufficient strength for handling
