Brick tie is a stainless steel retaining clip used for fixing brickwork to the frame structure.
As the structure is always a wet space, all fasteners must be made of stainless steel. A minimum air gap of 30 mm is required.

Measuring instructions for brick ties:
Insulation thickness + air gap + at the centre of the brick + bend 50 mm
If the brick tie is fastened in a wooden frame for example, a minimum displacement of 40 mm is added to the wood.
