- Particularly suitable for applications where fast and efficient thawing is required and where corrosive and environmental impact should be low
- Can be used to prevent slips and to remove ice and snow
- When applied in advance, efficiently prevents forming of slippery platforms and reduces ice and snow getting stuck on surfaces
- Safe for the environment, people and animals
- Biodegradable
- Granule size 2–5 mm
- Can be used down to approx. –15°C; however, it takes longer to thaw at low temperatures
- Can be applied manually or with general application tools for solids
- Can be used on its own or together with grit
NoticeLong, direct contact with zinc coating and galvanised materials must be avoided
Application areaAmount to be used to prevent slippery surfaces approx. 30 g/m² and when thawing after mechanical ice removal approx. 60 g/m². Surface material and structure, application method, weather conditions and traffic have an effect on the amount to be applied
