A Bluetooth-enabled smartphone V5.2 (backwards compatible to 4.0) and the latest version of the free app for iOS or Android are required for commissioning.

The CR2 batteries are commercially available and have a service life of approx. 1-2 years, which corresponds to approx. 10,000 openings. If the battery loses its power, the lock emits an acoustic signal each time it is opened and the LED flashes yellow twice. After a few warnings, the lock will not lock until a new battery is installed. The permissions remain in force.
