The protective sock turns a point leak into an oil mist.
The protective sock prevents mechanical wear on the hose.
- Polypropylene fibre that is highly resistant to UV radiation as well as acids and bases
- Very good pressure resistance.
- Operating temperature: - 40˚C - + 80˚C.
An aluminum sleeve can be used to attach the sock

Fastening can also be done with a metal or strong plastic cable tie
European standard EN ISO 3457 requires that the hose must be protected if the following criteria are met:
- Operating pressure exceeding 5MPa (= 50 bar) or
- The liquid temperature exceeds 60 ° C
- The hoses are located in a normal operating environment within a radius of 1 metre from the operator and if the hose breaks, there is a risk that the liquid shower will reach the operator
The sock should be a little loose on top of the hose for the water jet to disburse.
