- The smooth stem on the bottom of the base fits well into the hole in the corner/plate, therefore the connection becomes stiffer and more durable than when using ordinary screws.
- When installing the nail plate screw, the torque of the screwdriver must be fine-tuned so that the screwing stops when the base of the screw reaches the surface of the steel plate, otherwise there is a risk of the base breaking.
- To reduce the risk of the wood splitting, the outermost screws are fastened first.
- The screws must be screwed in vertically.
- Material: hardened steel.
- The nail plate screws are protected with an electro zinc coating with a thickness of 12 micrometres. The use of screws together with hot-dip galvanized (12-15µ) construction clips is permitted in stress class 2 (outdoor spaces protected from the weather).
