The tubular beam section is mounted with suitable concrete anchors to the stud and the other end is either nailed or screwed to the horizontal beam in a wooden frame.
Both the anchor section and the connecting wooden structure shall be horizontal and the entire surface shall be in contact with the plates of the tubular column section. The tubular beam is designed to support vertical loads only and must not be installed diagonally.
The tubular beam adjustment is 120 mm (= maximum 120 mm of threaded rod visible from inside the pipe).
The tubular beam is made of hot-dip galvanised steel and is used in accordance with EN 1995-1-1 in stress Class 1-3.
