Roofing screw ø 6.3 mm

Over time, the fasteners of a roof sheet, wall sheet, eaves sheet or other similar material either loosen or rust to the point of being unusable - instead, a repair screw thicker than the previous fastener can be installed, in which case the sheeting will have many additional years

Wall sheeting, roof sheeting, eaves sheeting, etc. Sheeting has for decades been made for many places. The roofs of hundreds of thousands of Finnish buildings are made of sheet metal. Over the years, the fixing screws or nails of the tin roof may have come off, loosened, dented, or corrosion has hit the coating of the fitting. The new one doesn’t want to stick to the underwood because the hole is loose.

The Würth replacement screw is 6.3 mm thick and perfectly replaces a thinner screw or nail. There are six colour options and one plain, which you can paint in a suitable colour if you wish.

The replacement screw is equipped with a high-quality, weather-resistant EPDM seal, which is attached to an aluminium spacer. The spacer has a diameter of 16 mm, which is 2 mm wider than the spacer of a standard cover screw. A larger spacer better covers the stain left by the old spacer.

The installation for the replacement screw is done with an 8 mm roofing screw assembly tool, just like the standard screw.

Replacement roofing screws are delivered in 100-piece plastic boxes. The machine sleeves are sold separately.

NoticeWorn, rusted or detached roofing screws or sheet metal roofing nails should be replaced with Würth repair screws.
