Maxitape is well suited for equipment containing water and air as well as for steam and hydraulics.
Maxitape is used for sealing all types of threaded joints, e.g. in hydraulic systems, compressed air, cooling systems, heating and ventilation systems. Can be used for all types of materials (iron, metal, plastic, fibres etc.). Thread tape is well suited for use in applications with high hygiene requirements (hospitals, food industry and similar).
- Resistant to many chemicals (except fluorine, certain fluorine compounds and molten alkali metals).
- Very low friction coefficient. Non-flammable (ASTM D-635 and D-470). Does not age.
- Moisture and UV resistant. Excellent tensile strength even in cold conditions.
- Does not break when bent or shaken.
- Good electrical insulation regardless of frequency and temperature. Tape is not suitable for oxygen.
