Socket wrenches allow easy tightening and loosening of shaft, adapter sleeve and withdrawal sleeve lock nuts. They require less working space than hook spanners and can be used with ratchets and torque wrenches. For safety reasons, the attachment of socket wrenches must be secured with a locking pin and rubber ring. Therefore, socket wrenches have a hole for the locking pin and a groove for the rubber ring.
