Take-up bearing units comply with ISO standards. They consist of a Y bearing based on a sealed deep groove ball bearing mounted in a cast iron housing. Typically, units installed in adjustable frames have an inner ring extended on both sides. Locking is achieved by tightening the two set screws on the inner ring.
