Used in cavity wall constructions. Insert the bent end first. Insulation is pushed through and secured with the counter plate (VLR). The remainder is bent into the brick seam. Minimum length: insulation thickness + air gap + 180 mm. Parts made of stainless steel. Available in 4 and 5 mm. Consumption at least 4 pcs/m².

Measuring instructions for brick ties:
Insulation thickness + air gap + centre of the brick + 50-mm bend
If the brick tie is fastened in a wooden frame for example, a minimum displacement of 40 mm is added to the wood.
