INA take-up bearing units comply with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). They consist of a Y bearing, which is a sealed deep groove ball bearing mounted in a cast iron housing. Typically, units installed in adjustable frames have an inner ring extended on both sides. The bearing is locked onto the shaft by tightening the two set screws on the eccentric locking collar.
