Structural fire protection for joints, pipes, cables and construction materials
Structural fire protection helps maintain fire compartmentation and slows the spread of fire and smoke within a building. Service penetrations, joints and transitions between building elements are critical points in a fire situation, and an unprotected detail can reduce the fire resistance of the whole structure.
Structural fire protection products are used in different penetrations, joints and building elements according to the requirements of the application. The range includes solutions for sealing joints, pipes and cables, as well as products for protecting construction materials.
Fire protection products for joints
Fire-retardant acrylic sealant is used for fire-rated sealing of structural joints and penetrations. It is suitable, for example, for movement joints in walls and intermediate floors, as well as for sealing metal pipes and fire door frames.
Fire-retardant sealing foam is designed for firestopping and fire-rated joint sealing where an opening or penetration needs to be sealed quickly and safely. It is used especially for sealing different penetrations and larger openings in compartmenting structures.
Fire-retardant silicone SIL 240 is a fire-resistant sealant for sealing structural joints and penetrations. It is particularly suitable for movement joints and applications where a flexible seal is needed to help limit the spread of smoke, heat and flames.
Fire protection products for pipes, cables and mixed penetrations
Fire-retardant cement is intended especially for the safe sealing of mixed penetrations. It is used when the same opening contains, for example, both pipes and cables and a reliable firestop fill is required.
Pipe collar fire protection is used for firestopping plastic and composite pipes as well as other pipe penetrations in wall and floor structures. Its purpose is to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through the penetration when the pipe softens or melts in a fire.
Mineral fibreboard is used for fire-rated penetration sealing of pipes and cables in lightweight partition walls, solid walls and solid floor structures. It is particularly suitable for applications where several penetrations pass through the same opening and a neat, easy-to-work firestop solution is needed.

Fire protection products for construction materials are used in applications where the integrity of the structure and resistance to high temperatures need to be supported.
Technical fire protection adhesive is a heat-resistant, ready-to-use paste for bonding and sealing surfaces exposed to high temperatures. It is used, for example, in applications where good heat resistance is required for sealing, fixing or surface bonding.
Active and preventative fire protection
Active and preventative fire protection products help identify hazardous situations early and limit the effects of a developing fire as quickly as possible.
