Couplings are torsionally flexible jaw couplings with a wide range of applications. They are therefore among the most commonly used couplings in mechanical engineering. They dampen vibrations and shocks occurring during operation. They compensate for misalignment and angular deviations of the connected shafts. A complete coupling requires two hubs and a flexible element between them.
