The length of the insulation screw is selected according to the insulation thickness. When used for fixing insulation to a slab cast on a pile-supported base, the screw is driven into the insulation by the thread depth, leaving the shaft and head above the insulation. This prevents the insulation from detaching from the underside of the slab when the ground settles.
Use a suitable installation tool to prevent damage to the fastener.
