High-quality Würth 4047 MIG welding wire is made from AlSi12 aluminium alloy, making it ideal for MIG welding of casting alloys, especially silumin containing up to 12% silicon. The high silicon content of this wire lowers the solidification temperature of the weld pool, making the weld seam more resistant to hot cracking.
