Single-row angular contact ball bearings can carry radial and axial loads. They can only accommodate axial forces in one direction. Under radial load, an axial force is generated in the bearing, which must be balanced by a counterforce. For this reason, the bearing is usually supported against a second bearing. Angular contact ball bearings are non-separable.
- Can carry relatively high radial loads and high axial loads in one direction
- High rotation speeds
- Very limited misalignment capability
- BD:contact angle 30° for series 32 and 33
- B or BB:contact angle 25° for series 32 and 33
- B:contact angle 40° for series 72 and 73
- JP:steel plate holder
- MP:solid brass holder
- M:solid brass holder for rolling elements, guiding
- MA:brass holder, outer ring guidance
- TVP:solid window holder, glass fibre reinforced polyamide
- TVH:solid window holder, glass fibre reinforced polyamide
- UA:universal pair adapter, the bearing pair has a minimal axial clearance in O and X position
- UO:universal pair adapter, the bearing pair has no clearance in O and X position
- UL:Universal pair adapter, low pre-tension on the bearing pair in O and X position
- 2RSR:abrasive rubber seal on both sides of the bearing
- 2Z:non-abrasive sheet metal protection plate on both sides bearing
- C3: larger than normal bearing clearance, the rolling element has a little more space between the bearing rings
