Sealex is made of 100% pure PTFE. The sealing tape is soft, highly compressible and creep-resistant while retaining the unique properties of PTFE. These features make it a versatile and reliable seal even under the most demanding sealing conditions.
Sealex sealing strip can used anywhere where maintenance free and long-term sealing is required. Typical applications include glass joints; plastic, rubber or coated flanges; fibreglass-reinforced tanks and flanges; flue gas and cable ducts; ventilation and air conditioning ducts; ceramic flanges; heat exchangers; covers of pumps and compressors; water systems; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; and inspection hatches.
