Spherical plain bearings are designed to support radial and combined radial and axial loads and to compensate for misalignment.
They are self-aligning and can withstand oscillating movements, tilting, and pivoting motions. Misalignment does not affect their performance or service life. They are available in many different designs and sizes to meet the requirements of various applications and loads. Available in both re-lubricatable and maintenance-free versions.
