Arosta 309Mo welding electrode is a heavily CrNiMo-alloyed rutile-basic electrode suitable for all welding positions. Its good corrosion resistance makes it an excellent choice for joining stainless steel to unalloyed steel and for root pass welding in clad steels. The electrode can also be used for welding difficult-to-weld steels and for repair welding. Its maximum plate thickness in butt joints is approximately 12 mm, and it can be welded with AC and DC+ polarity.
